Isabel Lessa has been working in various fields since 2007, including theater, exhibitions, concerts, operas and events. As a local producer, she has been involved in big projects such as Peter Brook’s show “The Suit”; the exhibition “Frida Kahlo: Connections Between Surrealist Women in Mexico”; and Grupo Corpo’s shows between 2013 and 2018, among others. She also worked as assistant director on several Maria Bethânia tours, including “Carta de Amor”, “Abraçar e Agradecer” and “Amor, Festa e Devoção”, among other projects.
In cinema, Isabel worked as production manager on the film “Humanidade 2012”, directed by Bia Lessa. Since 2015, she has directed her career towards national cinema, coordinating the post-production of the films “Las Herederas”, by Marcelo Martinessi, and “Excelentíssimos”, by Douglas Duarte. In 2019, she began working as executive production coordinator on Julia Murat’s film “Rule 34”.
Since 2022, Isabel has been part of the Bubbles Project team, where she works as an executive producer.
