Tomorrow Will be Another Day
Alberto is a Portuguese environmental engineer that decides to change his life. He travels to a metropolis in Western Africa (an imaginary and futuristic city that has both Guinea-Bissau and Luanda), where he starts working as an engineer on the construction of a road between the jungle and the desert.
Shaken by the hostility of the elements, the oppressive heat and the loneliness, Alberto meets Ema and Ben. Just like him, these two locals are moved by an escape drive and a desire to overcome their origins. The bond between them becomes, to Alberto, the only guarantee of mental sanity amidst a process of brutalization and the generalized barbarity that spreads between his expatriate colleagues, from the construction sites to the ONG offices.
