Adyr is a brilliant and ambitious neuroscientist determined to find an effective treatment for alcoholism. Her 15-year-old son Lucas is involved in student movement at his public school, besides being in love. After receiving an invitation to head a laboratory in Germany, Adyr finds herself in a dilemma: to compel her rebellious teenager son to go with her or to give up the professional opportunity of her life.
